Our brain is a fascinating machine. What makes teaching such a complex and interesting job is that each child learns differently. Although there has been much progress in brain research and learning how we learn, there will always be a puzzle child that pushes us, as educators, to stretch our own learning and determination to reach every child where they are at. In that breath, this website is directed toward the sharing of ideas and research in understanding the brain, multiple intelligences, and creative ways to reach children.
The best way to help children learn is to attach new learning to already existing schema. Connect new learning to something already learned. Music is one way to connect to students and engage them.
